The story behind my topic choice: The reason I chose basketball as my topic is because basketball has a great history. It started out just having baskets and rocks, and everyone gathering around shooting and betting with each other for money according to who makes the most baskets. Another reason I chose baskeball is because I think it is the best sport. It keeps you in shape and keeps you healthy. Most people love it because you go around the world to meet everyone famous. Basketball players have a lot of respect around the world and they are well-known. Basketball started in 1891 in Springfield, Masschusetts. In the United States, the first game was played on November 1, 1946 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada between the New York Knickerbockers and the Toronto Huskies.
What I want to know about my topic:
1) How does it feel to be in the NBA with millions of people watching you play one the court and everyone is screaming your name?
2) Does it distract you playing in front of a big audiens?
3) What are some of the rules of the game of basketball?
4) What does a basketball player have to do to be prepared to play in high school, college, or the NBA?
5) How much money does a professional basketball player make?
